Elevation Worship emerged from Elevation Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, evolving from a local worship team into a globally recognized musical collective. Their sound is characterized by a blend of contemporary Christian music, pop, and rock influences, often featuring anthemic melodies, powerful group vocals, and intricate instrumental arrangements. The core lineup includes a rotating cast of worship leaders and musicians, such as Chris Brown, Tiffany Hudson, and Brandon Lake, who contribute to a consistent and recognizable sonic identity. Their music frequently incorporates soaring electric guitar lines, dynamic drum patterns, and prominent synthesizers, creating an atmosphere designed for congregational singing and spiritual reflection.

The stage production typically features sophisticated lighting designs, large LED screens displaying evocative visuals and lyrics, and a meticulously engineered sound system that fills the expansive venues. The setlist is a careful curation of their most beloved worship anthems, newer releases, and spontaneous moments of musical exploration.
